Assignment 2

Regarding worldview of islam, what are the characteristics of good business ethics?

Regarding worlview of islam
business ethics are simple means of dealing with keeping manners regulation and the importance (obligated) together. They have many characteristics of good ethics in islam,First,be honest. A dealer or a business will not fool the their customers. They speak the truth and say if any shortage of goods, otherwise hide it.Honest trader also sells the good stuff alone and not sell something that is damaged or can not be worn another without the knowledge of the buyer. Like selling fruit, they will be entirely not mixing with bad fruits along with the better.

Second, selfless. A good business is not just want to profit alone. Business reality is one a branch of the noble endeavor because it meets the requirements and needs human.Basic understanding of why, entrepreneur or business more ethically conscious enjoyment of others.Does not mean not to profit if unethical, but apart profit, customers also benefit from a good of the goods sold.

Third.sell only the halal goods. In Islam, one of the aspects what matters is that useful items, net or in simple, not something dangerous.Halal not just for Muslims alone, but it is very suitable for all people of the world as it is to guard the people from the misery of self and soul. Therefore, traders should be selling or marketing of ethical something beneficial only and do not involve themselves with illegal business side of religion. For example, selling drugs, stolen goods, food clearly forbidden by religion and whatever that harms the buyer.

Next,no gambling, usury, dubious or the detrimental side parties. A business with good ethics is not impose any interest (interest / usury) to its customers, even provide appropriate facilities. In other aspects such as pricing.A dealer same good never try to put a ridiculous price.

Finally, not monopolize. This was forbidden in Islam. If according to good business ethics, a trader should not be monopolize any merchandise. Rather Islam encourages mutual aid assisting one another.Example monopoly here is like a business using all the powers available to them to raise prices,or abusing the power they have to block others do something similar like them. Finally, only those the profit and others simply exploited with impunity. In the business, the relationship that exists not only traders and buyer, even dealers with other dealers also need to establish a good relationship. Compete well and helped each other if other traders have a problem.

The conclusion That's some good features of business ethics from the stand point Islamic religion is not just for Muslims only, but it is for all human beings in this world.  Clearly, business ethics, especially in the Islamic view very stressed the importance and the advantages of both sides, the trader itself with the customer or mankind in general

Corporate Governance

Corporate Governance is "the system by which companies are directed and controlled". It involves regulatory and market mechanisms, and the roles and relationships between a company’s management, its board, its shareholders and other stakeholders, and the goals for which the corporation is governed. Lately, corporate governance has been comprehensively defined as "a system of law and sound approaches by which corporations are directed and controlled focusing on the internal and external corporate structures with the intention of monitoring the actions of management and directors and thereby mitigating agency risks stemming from the devious deeds of these corporate officers".
